He is my Strength

I realize how many times I make excuses and complain about my circumstances. I'm tired, its someone elses fault, I am hormonal, I don't feel like it etc. Yet, my circumstances are only part of the story of my past but they do not and should not control how I live the rest of my life. If God says that "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength" (Philipians 4:13) then I have not only the strength that I need to live today but His grace for the future.

Psalm 73:26-28
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
